The Woman In Black

The woman in black approaches ever close with a very short span left to feel the horror. Director James Watkins promises that it’s going to be a pine chilling experience.

So far, The Woman in Black Review says that the costume and carefully designed sets naturally blend into the settings giving the movie a very convincing look of the Edwardian period. Also, it is refreshing to see how, unlike the typical horror, The Woman in Black movie uses all the senses to create fear in broad daylight. Even apart form that though; The Woman in Black movie depends on the stereotypical scare methods. Long intervals of silence lead to scenes of horror and terror, and though at first it works well enough, the mid segment of the movie drags a little. Only till the last half hour of the movie when it picks up pace brilliantly.

The Woman in BlackThe children form the major source for the chills. The violent deaths and possessed children will surely make the audience cringe. The drag in the action aside, The Woman in Black movie manages to capture the audience with the tale of betrayal, revenge and a refusal to forgive.
